Jean Batten

On Tuesday the 21st, MLH dedicated a day to famous solo flyer Jean Batten. Our teacher brought us into our school hall, at first glance everybody got super happy and excited not knowing how challenged we would be. The first task was like a treasure hunt and there were clues, Our group had an easy one for the start. We had to find each blue letter from a text that ended up spelling where is the fire alarm. We looked up and saw two envelopes sitting next to the fire alarm, we opened them and we and to join with Betsy's group. We had to use code words like for C was charlie and I was India which are places too. So we read each other the codes and found the places on the map. We brought our answer to Koka Ngaire she gave us our next task.

We had to use Morse code, Koka Ngaire gave us the code and we put it into a sentence. The sentence read leaves England, we brought it up to Koka Ngaire. Then we had to figure out the numbers this one is hard to explain but ill try. There was some numbers this is the correct on, 402 some are correct but one is in the wrong. The answer was 4:20 she left England at 4:20. Next we got let out morning tea.
