Leighton house

SVA stands for Student Volunteer Army. Room 4 got chosen to make a TEAM to find a project to do. Our class voted on different ideas, we voted to visit the Gisborne hospital unfortunately the hospital said no because of the number of measles cases. Koka Nolian said as a back up plan we could visit Leighton House, so our project was visiting a rest home.

On the day of the visit parents drove us there finally we arrived.

We walked in, I was quite scared to talk to elderly people but I did. Jill was one of the elderly people and another elderly person was Manu. We played Scrabble, I went outside and played ping pong. Me and Kobe talked to an old man named Noel. We were talking to him but he couldn't see us.

Cross country 2019

😃Cross country 2019 😃

At school today, we had cross country. We had to run one km and five hundred meters. "GO KARORO!" yelled Momo.  The year sixs went
first,"GO ZIGGY".  When it was my turn I was nervous  I was gonna come last.
"On your marks,
set, GO!" shouted Nic,
and we where off, Rori was coming first.

I caught up to Reef, we ran together.
Reef and I passed Noa and Trey, but just about passed Momo. I ran as hard as I could, but still couldn't pass him.
 I was so puffed,
my mum shouted,  "GO Buddy!" I'm on my last lap. I was puffed, yes I finished!

😁 THE END 😁

My baby sister was born on the 6th of June.  She weighed 7.11 pounds. My mummy  had to stay in hospital and I stayed with dad. We saw Pixie at the hospital. When we went with dad we skipped school.

Coming home . . .
When Pixie got home I was so happy to see her again. I had a bath with Pixie too.  I got to hold Pixie as well.
So far she is good.

                                           3D hand art
Hi I'm Max,this term I learnt about 3D hand art. I'm finding challenging to do a perfectly curved arc. I think I will succeed because it gets easier as it gets higher.
