SWIMMING SPORT!!

It was swimming sports, I was so nerveous, we fianly got on the bus and drove to enterprise pool. I was up 3rd  3 2 1 BEEP!  And were off,  I swam as fast as I could, we were doing freestlye we had to do 2 laps.

1ST HEAT
Then I did Backstroke 3 2 1 BEEP!! I pushed off the wall as hard as I could  TRYED my hardest and didn't stop till the end, my mum cherred GO! MAXI!.

It's been an 1st awsome week back to wainui, Last year was a blast and I hope this year is awsome to,we have done quick writes silent reading and I'm loving it in Moana HUB. 


This year I'm hoping to learn most of my time tables such as 3-5-6-7-8-9. We did this  game were you had run with a balloon  betwen our legs the girls poped there balloon It was so funny.

We have these things called buzz groups the teacher gave us a word and we had to find people that relate to our word my word was bovine comment if you think you know what that is little clue something to do with cows.


 In moana hub I like how your free to, choose two classes and there is lots of opurtunities like road patrols and house captain. We did this thing POP art we you got a piece of paper with are face on the back and had to copy our face and had to use adnormal colour

SVA stands for Student Volunteer Army. Room 4 got chosen to make a TEAM to find a project to do. Our class voted on different ideas, we voted to visit the Gisborne hospital unfortunately the hospital said no because of the number of measles cases. Koka Nolian said as a back up plan we could visit Leighton House, so our project was visiting a rest home. 

On the day of the visit parents drove us there finally we arrived.

We walked in, I was quite scared to talk to elderly people but I did. Jill was one of the elderly people and another elderly person was Manu. We played Scrabble, I went outside and played ping pong. Me and Kobe talked to an old man named Noel. We were talking to him but he couldn't see us.

Te Tapuwae o Rongokako Marine Reserve

We went to the Pouawa Marine Reserve I put my wetsuit got my snorkel put my flipper Jackson dad named AJ took us all the way out the back we saw a crayfish nest it had like 59 crays in the ledge. I saw a seven armed starfish.

      We went further and saw Kina the size of a soccer ball and a cray the size of a rugby ball. We had do snorkel through seaweed. Momo got cold so we had to come back in.cold so we had to come back in. After that we went back out with koka Rozie.

Koka Rozie and my group went and meet Jo's group. We saw another cray nest and came back because it was cold. So Jo took us in.

Kiaora, my name Maximus and last week we stayed at a 

marae sounds scary because of those carvings at night 

they gave me the hebe-jebes.  But apart from that it was fine, splash sploosh splat I cleaned my hand, the tap was as shiny as gold. I dried my hand in the blow dryer it was as hot as fire.  I was running back to my group when I saw the slippery floor it was as slippery as a banana peel so I pulled back on my brakes, so close I could have slipped PHEW.  Bang boom

Welcome to my first post of the term 3. I have been learning about hauora, we made a wharie with a roof.

I found it challenging to stick it all together. So my friend helped me stick it.

"Oh, gross it's like a bomb".  Hi I'm Max and today we had an experiment.   We made sherbet.  I was scared to taste it. So Kobe went, then Momo, then me.  It felt like it burnt a hole in my tongue.   Now the ingredients if you wish to make this disgusting  sherbet.

. . . INSTRUCTIONS . . .

1/2 a teaspoon of of citric acid.

1/2 a teaspoon of cordial.

1 teaspoon of icing sugar.

1/4 of baking soda.
